These Makenge basket bowls are handmade in Zambia. These often become family "heirlooms" of a kind as they are often handed down from generation to generation. They are dyed with natural plant dyes, and it is noted that only the most talented weavers of the Village of the Mongu region are able to make these baskets. Each basket is unique and a one of a kind.

In the event that an item is out of stock the lead time for dispatch will then be between 1 - 3 weeks - you will be notified within 24hrs via email if this is the case.
South Africa - The Courier Guy 2 -3 days for delivery from dispatch date.
International orders are dispatched with Fedex and EMS courier. You will be able to select the choice of shipper in the check out cart.
Fedex delivery is 7-9 working days, EMS is currently 25-35 working days.

All returns must be shipped back to us, and we must receive them in as-new condition.
